There’s An Herb For That – Part III
In a previous post I discussed herbs for divination. The next full moon will be on Saturday, January 23rd, which means that between now and then is an excellent time for magic of attraction or fruition. Since there are many things most of us want to attract or come to fruition, I have decided to concentrate on money and prosperity. Thus, this post will cover a few herbs and spices used for that purpose.
The list of herbs and spices for obtaining wealth or prosperity is so long that I have decided to further concentrate on those that are the most easily obtainable in North America at this time of year.
Allspice (Pimenta officinalis or Pimenta dioica) – Burn as an incense to attract money.
Almond (Prunus dulcis) – Carrying almonds around is said to lead to treasure. If there is an almond tree available to you, climb it to ensure success in whatever business venture you have embarked upon. All parts of the almond tree can be used in money spells.
Basil (Ocimum Basilicum) – Basil is said to bring wealth to those who carry it with them. If you have a business, place some basil in the cash register or on the doorsill to attract customers.
Cashew (Anacardium occidentale) – Put cashews in your pocket to attract wealth and prosperity, or use it as part of a money or prosperity spell.
Cedar (Cedrus libani) – Burn cedar in a money incense, or put some in your wallet to attract money. Juniper can also be used as a substitute.
Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) – This can be added to incense, and an infusion (tea) is said to ensure winnings to gamblers who wash their hands with it.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) – Burn as an incense to draw money to you, or add it to a sachet for this purpose.
Clove (Syzygium aromaticum or Caryophyllus aromaticus) – Burning clove as in incense is said to attract riches.
Dill (Anethum graveolens) – The seeds are used in money spells.
Flax (Linum usitatissimum) – Put a few flax seeds in your pocket every day to attract money, or place some on your altar along with some coins.
Ginger (Zingiber officinalis) – Plant a whole ginger root to attract money, or sprinkle the dried version in your pocket or directly onto money for the same purpose.
Grape (Vitis vinifera) – Place grapes on your altar during money spells.
Marjoram (Origanum majorana or Origanum vulgare) – Add to money incense mixtures or sachets.
Mint (Mentha, several varieties) – Sprinkle some in your wallet to attract money, or use in money or prosperity spells.
To be continued…
